We are Iowa's premier pub-style, trivia hosting & DJ service!

After getting our start as an amateur comedian, we used our knowledge of useless facts to bring joy and laughter to the masses through random trivia questions! We pride ourselves in making each and every event special and memorable by combining our brand of comedy with a stellar lineup of trivia categories that are sure to get everyone involved.

We can use one of our updated categories, such as; 80's and 90's culture, TV shows, film, pop culture, various sports (special Hawkeye and Cyclone question sets!), Halloween, Christmas, or simply tell us your ideas and we'll craft special questions for your event.

Services

The Standardized Test

There's actually nothing standard about it. This is where is all starts; up to 10 rounds of 10 questions each. Choose from our large selection of categories or we can choose for you. And no Scantron cards here - we'll provide everything you need to make your event memorable.

The Multiple Choice

Everything included in the Standardized Test, but you can customize up to half of the categories.

The Fill-in the Blank

While it was our least favorite type of test (mainly because we couldn't guess), it's our favorite type of event. Here, you can customize all of the categories for all rounds. This is perfect for that corporate event where you're looking for very specialized topics.

The Proctored Exam

Looking to have a recurring trivia event? Funny Guy Trivia is happy to work with you to establish a recurring trivia event, complete with a fresh lineup of trivia categories at each event.

DJ Services

Wedding? Corporate Event? Massive party to upset you neighbors? We do it all! We offer budget-friendly DJ'ing services for any event. We'll help coordinate and emcee your event to make it a very special, memorable event. While every event is unique and requires unique planning, our standard event comes with: -6 hours of on-site time (hourly rate after) -All equipment provided, set up, tore down -Customized sound list to accommodate any particular musical requests -Assistance in planning your special event -On-site requests -Nominal fee for utilization of equipment/services during ceremony (if needed)
